so good news, and bad news

okay kids, so i have some light good news and some VERY bad news.

The good news is that I have some pictures, which I will be uploading soon.

The bad news is that I have no idea when I can start work, get into the parks or even get my Disney ID. Apparently because I’m adopted, they’re taking forever and a year to do my background check. I was supposed to take my disney traditions class (which is like, how you’re supposed to dress, how to interact with customers, just a really long job orientation class) this morning, but they told me that my background check wasn’t complete yet. When they called me later, they said that it may take up to a MONTH to complete. Wow. I’ve been in tears a few times today.

I was talking to my mom about what it might be, and she said definitely because i was adopted. Because on top of making sure I’m a citizen, doing a background criminal check and all that junk, they have to make sure my adoption was legal and witnessed and all that shit. Obviously that’s not going to be easy to do, because I don’t imaging the government of arkansas to have all their shit together on an adoption that happened 19 years ago. BUT STILL, this is friggen disney, you’d think that they’d be more organized.

On the upside (which is really hard to find when you watch your roommates wave and leave for Magic Kingdom while you stay behind and mope) I used my spare time to start my calorie/workout journal, and I’m doing pretty good. Eggs and ham sandwiches for the WIN!

Um, so not much other news aside from that. JR and I are going to go to walmart, hit the gym and relax poolside to vent our frustrations. Ugh. Deuces and wish me luck.

Soooo I was supposed to get a camera before I left, but the fact that my baggage was WAY more than I predicted kind of prevented me from getting one. I DO have a butt ton of pictures of alligators, silver springs, huge snakes and shit I did BEFORE I got to disney that you will absolutely love. I’m trying to send them to my email so I can upload them here, but it might not work. If it doesn’t, I’m going to get something to put them on the computer with and do it that way.

THAT, along with a

FUCKING CAMERA will be coming by NEXT WEEKEND. Not, this weekend coming up. LAKSJDLAKSDJFLASKJD I’m excited. Hope you guys are too. :] OH YEAH. So about my job. I’m working at a place called Pizzafari in the Animal Kingdom, which is MUCH COOLER than Cinderella’s castle. I’m pretty stoked about it, and starting tomorrow we can all get into all the parks for free. So stay tuned about my life and stuff. :]

what the legitimate fuck. can’t ANYONE keep their word nowadays?

three days til florida

my heart’s starting to race a little more each day. i’m starting to look at ellsworth differently, like it’s an actual place on a map somewhere instead of a tiny town i’m stuck in- and a place i’m leaving forever soon.

HEY GUESS WHAT.

A week and two days. I have a week and two days until I leave for florida and I haven’t even finished packing yet. AHHHHHH.

I miss this girl. With everything I have. She is by far one of the greatest people I’ve ever met.
